This tour offers a great insight into the city and a general idea of its most representative neighborhoods: Madrid of the 18th century with its great museums and beautiful mythological fountains, Retiro Park, the luxury boutiques of Salamanca district, the bullring Las Ventas, Castellana Boulevard, the financial district, the stadium of Real Madrid, and the iconic Gran V\u00eda with its buildings from early 20th century.<\/p>

Royal Palace<\/h2>

The Royal Palace of Madrid is the largest in Western Europe. Its more than 3,000 rooms have been the scene of our history for centuries. It was the main residence of the Spanish royal family from 1764 to 1931. It is a living museum that is still used today for Court ceremonies and official entertaining, it is one of the few official residences of a Head of State open to the public.<\/p>

Prado Museum<\/h2>

The Prado Museum is probably the best classical painting gallery in the world. It stands out because almost all paintings on display are masterpieces. Opened in 1819, many of its works come from the Royal Collections.<\/p>

\u00a0In this museum we can enjoy amazing paintings from the 12th century to the 19th century. Spanish, Italian and Flemish schools stand out in The Prado Collection. “Las Meninas” by Vel\u00e1zquez, “The Executions” by Goya, “The Nobleman with his Hand on his Chest” by El Greco, “The Garden of Delights” by Hieronymus Bosch, or “The Three Graces” by Rubens, are some of its best known masterpieces.<\/p>

Reina Sof\u00eda Museum<\/h2>

It is one of the three museums which make up the \u201cArt Walk\u201d in Madrid.<\/p>

The Permanent Collection contains works showing the development of 20th century art in Spain through the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939). Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dal\u00ed and Joan Mir\u00f3 are the leading painters in this museum.
