Royal Palace

The Royal Palace of Madrid is the largest in Western Europe. Its more than 3,000 rooms have been the scene of our history for centuries. It was the main residence of the Spanish royal family from 1764 to 1931. It is a living museum that is still used today for Court ceremonies and official entertaining, it is one of the few official residences of a Head of State open to the public.

We will admire its official rooms and the Royal Armory. Our guided tour will show you its fascinating history, art and curiosities.

Prado Museum

The Prado Museum is probably the best classical painting gallery in the world. It stands out because almost all paintings on display are masterpieces. Opened in 1819, many of its works come from the Royal Collections.

In this museum we can enjoy amazing paintings from the 12th century to the 19th century. Spanish, Italian and Flemish schools stand out in The Prado Collection. “Las Meninas” by Velázquez, “The Executions” by Goya, “The Nobleman with his Hand on his Chest” by El Greco, “The Garden of Delights” by Hieronymus Bosch, or “The Three Graces” by Rubens, are some of its best known masterpieces.

Reina Sofía Museum

It is one of the three museums which make up the “Art Walk” in Madrid.

The Permanent Collection contains works showing the development of 20th century art in Spain through the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939). Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dalí and Joan Miró are the leading painters in this museum. The Guernica by Picasso is the highlight.
